On November 2^nd, the First English Teaching Competition of Medical School aiming to improve English teaching skill and promote the internationalization of medical education was held in Chengguan Campus. Teachers from 8 medical schools participated in this competition. Experts from medical schools, the International Office and the School of Foreign Languages were invited to evaluate their English expression and professionality. In addition, 14 outstanding student representatives of medical majors were selected to participate in the evaluation.

At the end of the competition, Professor El-Sayed Salama from our school gave a comprehensive comment on the English expression, the teaching skill and the interaction with students of all contestants. Associate Professor Danfeng Long from our school won the Special Prize (including the First Prize, the Best Teaching Plan Award and the Most Popular Teacher among Students) of this competition with her fluent expression and fantastic teaching skills.
