A donation ceremony for the preventive medical graduates of 2007, School of Public Health, Lanzhou University was held in Room 4010 of Qinbo Building on the morning of June 21. The attendees included Jinbo Qi, the deputy director of the Alumni Association Office of Lanzhou University, Dr. Xingrong Liu, dean of the School of Public Health, Dr. Zhilan Li and Dr. Guowu Ding, representatives of teachers, and representatives of 2007 Graduates. The ceremony was hosted by Dr. Xiaobin Hu, a vice dean of the school.
Jinbo Qi and Ming Cui, a representative of 2007 Graduates, signed a donation agreement on behalf of both parties, and exchanged donation cards and donation certificates. Jinbo Qi expressed his gratitude for the donation on behalf of the Alumni Association. Then, he gave a detailed introduction to the current situation and future development of the alumni association. Finally, he kindly invited all graduates to return to Lanzhou University on the occasion of the upcoming 110th anniversary in 2019.
Dr. Xingrong Liu expressed his gratitude to all graduates for their support for the development of the school. “The preventive medical graduates of 2007 are an excellent collective among the many outstanding alumni of the school. For 11 years after graduation, you always support and encourage the development of the School of Public Health and Lanzhou University. The donation represents your devotion and support for the school, and will become a powerful driving force for the development of the school. I promise that the school fully respects your wishes that all the donations will be used for the development of the school and alumni business”, Dr. Xingrong Liu said emotionally.
At the end of the ceremony, Ming Cui fondly remembered his experience of studying and growing up at Lanzhou University. He expressed his gratitude to the leaders and teachers who have been concerning about the development of alumni for these years. Also, he, as representative of 2007 Graduates, wished the school can make more breakthroughs in scientific research, talent training and other field.
