Health Services Management

The major in Health Services Management was founded in 2002, which is an interdisciplinary program combined with the Medicine, Social Science and Management Science. This program provides information on the evolution and affecting factors of health, and applies theories and methods of disciplines such as management, economics, sociology, law, and preventive medicine to study macroscopic and microcosmic management and policy issues in the health field. The main research areas are health legal system, health policy, health administration system, health resource allocation, health service system, medical insurance and hospital management, etc.

The teachers and researchers include seven professors, one associate professor, seven lectures and serveral assistants.

Years of Study

We provide a 4-year program for students applying for a bachelor’s degree in the Health Services Management Major. There was also a flexible length of schooling in which students are allowed to achieve their study intermittently. But students’ stay in the university should not exceed 8 years.

Main Courses

We provide such key courses as Basic Medical Science, Information Technology Foundation, Clinical Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Introduction to Clinical Medicine, Organizational Behavior, Epidemiology, Introduction to Public Health, Health Economics, Science of Health Care Administration, Hospital Administration, Science of Health Legal System and Supervision.
