At the invitation of professor Xing-rong Liu, dean of School of Public Health, Xue-guang Sun, the Director of DNA Sequencing and Genotyping Core 1 at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and associate professor of Human Genetics at University of Cincinnati, visited on June 14 and gave a report entitled "The application of the second-generation sequencing technology in epigenetics research". All faculty members and graduate students attended to the lecture.

After the lecture, some teachers had an in-depth discussion with Dr. Xueguang Sun combining their own research topics and expressed the intention to have further international cooperation in the future.

This lecture will be of positive significance to broaden the academic vision of our faculty and students and promote the cooperation between our School and foreign high-level universities.
